Meredith Magruder
Meredith Magruder, MS, LPC, CFRC is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a vast array of experience including extensive work with survivors of child sexual abuse, both children and adults, and their non-offending family members and several years as a registered nurse in emergency/trauma and critical care settings. Her life and work experiences fuel her passion to work with those experiencing trauma and grief, and a special affinity for First Responders and gifted teens and adults of all ages. A fully-trained EMDR therapist, she uses a trauma-informed, holistic approach to counseling incorporating mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development both from Texas Woman’s University.
Michelle Rachui
Michelle Rachui, M.S., LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Trauma does not just affect a victim, but can be life-altering to the surrounding family members. Michelle has substantial experience working with individuals, couples, and families who have encountered trauma in their lives. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, parenting, and issues that affect one’s relationships and daily life. We have all been exposed to some type of loss in our life, and Michelle is dedicated to walking beside you on your journey toward healing. She is fully trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Sandtray Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and looks forward to helping individuals, couples, and families rediscover their hope. Michelle holds a Masters of Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce.
Trent Davis
Trent Davis, MA, LPC-Associate, supervised by Michelle Rachui, M.S., LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. As a first responder for over 26 years, Trent has had a front-row seat to witnessing the effects of the trauma and struggles that many people in the community face every day. He also experienced the mental and physical strain the career takes on those committed to the profession. As a counselor, he has transformed his unique experience to help others through therapy. Trent believes that therapy is about meeting the client where they are and working with individuals collaboratively in a non-judgmental space. It is about becoming self-aware and working hard to create the best version of yourself. It is about gaining some control back and feeling empowered to reach your goals.
Trent has experience working with adults and adolescents age 10+ dealing with trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, men's issues, life adjustments, addiction, anger, and assertiveness. Through various approaches, he helps clients obtain the necessary tools to reach the goals they have for themselves. As a Christian counselor, he would like to collaborate with you to get back on a meaningful path and move to the center of God's purpose for your life. He is trained in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and SYMBIS pre-marriage counseling. Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University and a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Trent has been married for 14 years to the love of his life and his best friend. He is a "girl dad" of three beautiful girls who own his heart and keep him busy. He loves traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
